Carreras Limited, the Jamaica-based tobacco maker reported revenue in the first-half ending September soared 19.3% to J$5.25 billion from J$4.40 billion a year ago period.
Net income in the period tumbled 100% from a year ago period to J$1.22 billion or J$2.41 a share compared to J$970.4 million or J$2 a share.
Kingston Wharves Limited, the Jamaica-based logistics services provider said group revenue in the nine-month ending September declined 10.7% to J$2.75 billion from J$3.08 billion a year ago period.
Net income in the period surged 12.9% from a year ago period to J$527.9 million or 36.91 cents a share compared to J$467.2 million or 32.67 cents a share.
